1. Mechanic (Diesel): 46 posts
2. Electrician: 45 posts
3. Machinist: 30 posts
4. Fitter: 22 posts
5. Welder (Gas & Electric): 15 posts
6. Steno (English): 05 posts

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 15 to 22 years for Welder, 15 to 24 years for remaining posts as on 28-02-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10+2 with ITI in relevant trade for S.No.1 to 4 posts, 8th class for S.No.5 post, 10+2 (12th) with ITI in Steno (English) trade for S.No.6 post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on Merit.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply Online through website www.dmw.indianrailways.gov.in from 31-01-2014 to 28-02-2014.

1. Visit http://www.dmw.indianrailways.gov.in/
2. Click on the Link Departments->Personnel->Misc.Activities->Engagement of Act Apprentices for 2014.
3. Click on the Link & then ‘Apply Online’
4. Complete the Registration and clicks on the ‘Save’ option.
5. Again Login by using username & Password.
6. Fill the Application Form and Submit.
7. Take the Printout of Application Form by using Registration No (Generated
after the form has been submitted).

Closing Date for On-line Registration: 28-02-2014.

CRPF Recruitment 2014 – 271 Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) Posts: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has issued notification for fill up Reserved/ Backlog/ Current vacancies for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) in CRPF. CRPF Vacancy details:
Total No. of Vacancies: 271
Name of the Post: Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno)

Age Limit: Candidates age limit must be between 18 and 25 years as on 22-02-2014. Relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government with Dictation-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription time- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) to be drawn in favour of the DIGP, GC, CRPF of concerned application receiving centre. SC/ST candidates, all female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Scrutiny/ checking of certificates/ documents, Physical Measurement, Written examination and Skill test ( i.e. Stenography/ short hand test), Interview and Medical examination.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested photocopies of certificate/ testimonials as proof of educational qualification and date of birth, for recent passport size self attested photographs, caste certificate, application fee, etc., enclosed in an envelope “Application for Special Recruitment for the Post of ASI (Steno) in CRPF” should reach to concerned application receiving centre as mentioned in notification on or before 22-02-2014 up to 05:00 PM. Manipur,Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh and other far flung areas can send their applications on or before 01-03-2014 up to 05:00 PM.
