CRPF Recruitment 2014 – 271 Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) Posts: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has issued notification for fill up Reserved/ Backlog/ Current vacancies for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno) in CRPF. CRPF Vacancy details:
Total No. of Vacancies: 271
Name of the Post: Assistant Sub-Inspector (Steno)

Age Limit: Candidates age limit must be between 18 and 25 years as on 22-02-2014. Relaxation is applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government with Dictation-10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription time- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the a Crossed Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) to be drawn in favour of the DIGP, GC, CRPF of concerned application receiving centre. SC/ST candidates, all female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Scrutiny/ checking of certificates/ documents, Physical Measurement, Written examination and Skill test ( i.e. Stenography/ short hand test), Interview and Medical examination.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested photocopies of certificate/ testimonials as proof of educational qualification and date of birth, for recent passport size self attested photographs, caste certificate, application fee, etc., enclosed in an envelope “Application for Special Recruitment for the Post of ASI (Steno) in CRPF” should reach to concerned application receiving centre as mentioned in notification on or before 22-02-2014 up to 05:00 PM. Manipur,Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts and Pangi sub-division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh and other far flung areas can send their applications on or before 01-03-2014 up to 05:00 PM.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18-23 years as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board/university. Candidates should possess 02 year ITI certificate in “Mechanic Motor Vehicle” issued by National Council for Vocational Training approved by DGET for Fitter post and should possess Transport Vehicle driving license for Driver post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standards Test, Written Test, Trade Test and Medical Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates belongs to General and OBC category have to pay the application fee of Rs.50/- in the form of Indian Postal Order duly crossed/ Demand Draft/ Banker’s Cheque purchased before 23-12-2013 in favor of DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Application Receiving Centres identified for their respective States mentioned in the notification. SC/ ST categories, Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.

How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format duly typed or neatly hand written and filled up in all respects, affixed with a recent passport size photograph along with Application Fee, two self addressed envelopes 4” x 9” size affixing postage stamps of Rs.22/- enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the Post of Constable (Technical & Tradesmen) -2014-15″ must reach DIG, Group Centre, CRPF of concerned Applications Receiving Centres mentioned in the notification on or before 23-12-2013.
