SSC CGL Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2014 (Application forms online registration will end on – 14.02.2014)

Tier-I Exam: The tier-I exam consists of 4 Sections
General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 questions (50 marks)
General Awareness – 50 questions (50 marks)
Quantitative Aptitude – 50 questions (50 marks)
English Comprehension – 50 questions (50 marks)
Total marks- 200. Time duration : 2 hours.

Tier-II Exam: After clearing the Tier-I exam, candidates will be able to appear in tier-II exam. Tier -II Contains Two Sections
Quantitative Abilities (Paper-I) – 200 marks for 100 questions
English Language & Comprehension (Paper-II) – 200 marks for 200 questions
Total marks in Tier-II- 400 marks.
Time duration : Each paper is 2 hours i.e. 4 hours for tier-II.

For Statistical Investigator Grade-III: For this post eligible candidates are required to appear for paper-III which is about 100 statistics questions of 200 marks.
Personal Interview/ CPT: After qualifying in tier-II exam, shortlisted candidates will be called for interview which is of 100 marks. Computer proficiency test will be conducted for only CSS post.

Staff selection commission (SSC) conducts combined graduate level (CGL) exam for the recruitment of Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts. SSC SSCCCGL online application form registration will start from 18th January 2014. The last date of online application form registration of SSC CGL 2014 examination will be 14th February 2014.
Aspirants can register their application form online through the official website of Staff Selection Commission which is www.ssconline.nic.in. It is the single website from where you can apply for SSC CGL 2014 exam.
