Qualifications :

Diploma in Electronics/Telecom / E&T/Electrical /Mechanical/Petroleum Engineering/Civil/Material management/ (S.No.1-5,6 ,8,9,10 posts)

Matriculation pass with 60% marks aggregation (S.No.7 posts).

10th Standard pass and Diesel/

Instrumentation/ Turner/Machining/ Tractor/ Motor Vehicle/ Welding/ Blacksmith/ Boiler Attendant and Machinist Grinder Trades certificate (S.No.11-17 posts).

Graduation in any discipline and Shorthand speed 80words/min & Typing speed 30 words/min for S.No.18 posts.

Qualification: Candidates should possess Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry for Sl No 1 Post, 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering for Sl No 2 Post, 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering, have valid Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor for Sl No 3 Post, 3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering for Sl No 4 Post, 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Petroleum Engineering for Sl No 5 Post and refer notification for post wise qualification details.

Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Written test, Physical Standard Test/ Driving Test/ Physical Efficiency Test/ Stenography Efficiency test/ Typing Efficiency test, Personal Interview.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 35 years for SC/ ST, 33 years for OBC, 30 years for UR for Sl No 1 to 23 Posts and 32 years for SC/ ST, 30 years for OBC, 27 years for UR for Sl No 24 & 25 Posts as on 17-06-2014.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.200/- for GEN/ OBC and Rs.50/- for SC/ ST/ PWD through SBI Bank Challan in any SBI Branch along with Bank Charges i.e Rs.20/- and no fee for Ex. Serviceman candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online form the website “www.ongcindia.com” from 28-05-2014 from 10:00 hrs and 17-06-2014 by 18:00 hrs and send hard copy of application along with Customized ONGC’s copy of the SBI payment Challan form in original with bank seal, Journal Number, Branch Code Number, Branch Name and Date of Deposit, by Superscribing the envelope as “Application for the Post of _________” send through ordinary post to The Advertiser (ONGC –ASSAM), Post Box No. 9248, Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, Delhi –110051 on or before 05-07-2014.

Instructions for Online Application:
1. Before Applying candidates should have valid E-mail ID, Contact Number – Mobile No which should be Valid/ Active and continued at least for minimum period of one year from the date of registration of online application.
2. Candidates should Scan copies of recent pass port size colour photograph with white background (10 KB to 40 KB size – image type : “ jpeg/ jpg”) and signature (10 KB to 40KB size image type : “ jpeg/jpg ”).
3. Log on to the website www.ongcindia.com.
4. Click on Careers—-> Recruitment for regular Posts.
5. Read the Instructions and click on Apply Online.
6. Fill the details like category, name, etc and upload photo and signature and click on submit button.
7. After Submission the candidate will get system generated customized Bank Challan and Application Format.
8. Make Payment and the Unique Registration No. and Date of Birth will be used for future access Admit Card, Application Status and Result. etc.
9. Take Print out of the Filled Application and send to the above mentioned address.
