Qualification: Candidates should possess Post-graduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Commerce or Economics or Statistics from a University established by law in India for Post No.1, Degree in technology or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Industrial Engineering or Architecture for Post No.2, Post Graduate Degree in Psychology with Lt. or Bt. or B.Ed.from a University established by law in India for Post No.3, Post graduate Degree in Mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Commerce or Economics or Statistics from a University for Post No.4 & 5. Refer notification for post wise educational qualification details.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21-40 years for Post No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 7, 12, 20-40 years for Post No.6, 25-40 years for Post No.8 & 9, 28-45 years for Post No.10 and 30-50 years for Post No.11. Age limit should be reckoned as on 01-07-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written examination and interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee and online processing fee of Rs.95/- for Unreserved category & Other Backward Class, Rs.55/- for SC/ST candidates and Rs.15/- for handicapped candidates. The fee should be deposit at any of the branches of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank through E-challan. The fee will not be allowed to be deposited by any other mode except E-Challan.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through Commission’s website http://uppsc.up.nic.in from 16-05-2014 to 17-06-2014. After submission of online application, take printout of the submitted application form and keep it for future reference.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.200/- to take printout of Online Challan for payment payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Orissa & persons with disability are exempted from payment of this fee.

Instructions for filling Online:
1. Candidates are required to photograph along with scanned image, signature & scanned image of Left hand thumb impression.
2.Log on to www.opsconline.gov.in and read all the instructions & guidelines carefully and then start filling Online Application process.
3. Select the Apply Online link besides the desired post.
4. Fill in all marked details carefully and upload previously scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression and click on ‘Submit’ button.
5. On successful submission of the online application form, a Registration ID
will be displayed on the screen as well as on the top of the application form.
6. Take print copy of finally submitted application form, Challan and make payment as per details mentioned above.
