Prime
Minister Manmohan Singh elected Kamal Nath, Minister of Urban Development and
Parliamentary Affairs, as head of the Indian delegation to the annual meetings
of the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos from 23 to 27 January 2013.
Three
other members of the delegation and Food Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Heavy
Industry Minister Praful Patel and Trade and Industry Minister Anand Sharma.
Kamal
Nath was chosen as leader of the delegation surprised the government because
this is the first time when someone is not from the ministries of finance and

Back in
2006, when the economy was on the boom, Kamal Nath launched India Everywhere
campaign, portraying India as a lucrative destination for investment and for
marketing in the top table at the global level. However, Indian delegation
