Gun control: Obama signs 23 executive actions

Barrack Obama, the President of the USA on January 16, 2013 proposed extensive gun control laws, making them stricter. Obama announced a total of 23 implementing measures that would occur immediately after his signature into force. One of these measures include the purpose of shooters keep their guns locked and within the control group as soon as they are ready, rather than home because they fall into the wrong hands.

The AMERICAN President also was asked to ban military-style assault rifles, lawmakers high capacity magazine and control required to the background.

Obama has announced that this was his attempt to children, taking account of the massacre in Newtown where 20 first grade children along with six adults were slain. Obama's plan now is to decree and laws.

Obama’s Proposal:

  • According to the White House, as an immediate action, Obama signed 23 executive work involving children as a result of gun violence.
  • Apart from this, the legislator Obama calls for the removal of the mesh, as well as performing a background check on who would buy the gun.
  • In addition, Obama wants lawmakers to restore the military-style assault weapons ban, except in order to sell them to criminals who buy guns to create a relatively tough penalties.

The proposals on stringent gun control laws came in light of the Sandy Hook School shootings that took place on 14 December 2012 in Newtown, Conn.
